Installing Character Creator & iClone Auto-setup for Unity
Character Creator & iClone Auto Setup can be manually installed into Unity Assets folder.
* Keep in mind that currently only Unity 2018.3, 2018.4 and 2019.1 are compatible.
- Go to the Character Creator & iClone Auto Setup official download site and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the Download Plug-in button to download the installation file, Auto Setup 1.0 Unity.exe.
- Execute the file and you will get an Character Creator & iClone Auto Setup folder under C:\Program Files\Reallusion\Shared Plugins\Auto Setup.
- In the folder, you will see another sub-folder named Unity.
- Open the folder and you find three plug-in folders for Unity.
- Open the folder ideal for your version of Unity Project. There will be three packages: Content and Plugins (in this case, 2019.1).Finding Unity Project Version
If you want to find the version of your Unity project, open the Unity Hub application and the version of your Unity project is listed in the Unity Version column.
- Find out the type of the Render Pipeline of your Unity project for applying the Character Creator & iClone Auto Setup plugin by opening the Project Settings and accessing to the Graphics item (in this case, HDRP).
- Import the suitable package into the Project Assets library.
Importing Methods:- Drag and drop: You can directly drag and drop the package into the Assets library.
- Right Click: Right click in the Assets Library and choose the Import from the context menu.
- Open the Package: You can open your project first and then click to have the package directly installed into the Assets Library.
Three folders will be instantly created in the Assets Library, CC_Assets, CC_Resource and Editor. - Drag and drop: You can directly drag and drop the package into the Assets library.
- Open the Settings panel (Tools menu > Character Creator & iClone Auto Setup) to make sure the Auto Setup Plugin is activated.
