Setting Motion Keys for G3, G3 360 and Free Bone Characters (New for v4)

The 2D Motion Key Editor is used for creating motions for G3, G3_360 and Free Bone characters with Key Frame Motion.

To fully understand Key Frame Motion, you will need to remove all the motion clips in the Motion main track. Then create your own key by the 2D Motion Key Editor for the actor. Please follow the steps below to generate a Key Frame Motion.

  1. Select a G3, G3_360 or free bone character.
  2. Go to the desired time frame and click the 2D Motion Key Editor button in the toolbar.
  3. The 2D Motion Key Editor will show the character bone structure.
  4. In the 2D Motion Key Editor, select a bone to set a motion key with Constraints or non-Constraints methods.

The head turn is created by the Face Key Editor.
  5. Go to another time frame.
  6. Add another key with Constraints or non-Constraints.

The motion keys will be auto-added on the track.
  7. Use the Face Key Editor to reset the head direction.

  8. Flip and transform the character.

Also change the transition curve to have the character jump out from behind the wall suddenly.
  9. Play the project to see the results. The transition effect will automatically be generated between these two keys.
