Rotation
After emission, mesh particles can possess an initial angle and rotate by a
set value over its lifetime. This can help to randomize the
movement pattern of the emitted meshes.
Velocity Related Settings
Forward to Velocity: This check box determine if the Z axis of the emitted meshes are to be aligned to the moving trajectories (it is very similar to the Align to Velocity mode of the texture emitter).
Initial Roll along Velocity: This value is able to determine the angle when the emitted meshes are first generated.
Initial Roll Randomness along Velocity: Increase this value to assign random rolling angles for each mesh when it is generated.
Spin Speed along Velocity: Increase this value to have the emitted meshes keep spinning during their lifetime. The value can be positive or negative.
Currently, you need to set this parameter to -1 for stopping the spinning.
Initial Rotation
(X / Y / Z): You can use the Initial Rotation to determine the direction for each particle when it is generated.
In the following example, the initial rotation angle is set to (-20.00, -50.00, 0.00).
Initial Rotation Randomness: However, if you want the emitted meshes to have different angle, then you can increase this value.
Mesh Particle Rotations
Free Rotation Speed (X / Y / Z): These three sliders can be used to determine the rotation speed for the emitted meshes.
Rotation Speed Randomness: You can increase this value to have the emitted meshes to rotate in random angle and constant speed based on the Free Rotation Speed values.
Rotation Speed Increment Amount: This setting accelerate the rotating speed for each emitted meshes.
