Digital Human Skin
- Skin: Settings for the selected character’s head and body’s skin material map including SSS (Subsurface Scattering), Normal, Roughness, and Specular.
- SSS Color: Select the color you want for your skin when light passes through it.
Default color setting for the SSS Color.
White is selected for the SSS color.
- SSS Strength: Adjust the SSS reflection effect to add moisture and enhance the underlying tissues of the character’s skin.
SSS Strength = 3.000
SSS Strength = 0.0
- SSS Enhanced: Increase the intensity of the grayscale transmission map which defines the areas of the body where the SSS Color will be enhanced.
SSS Enhanced = 0.540 (default)
SSS Enhanced = 0.0
- Head/Body: Select between 2 different body parts of the character. Each selection will adjust different areas based on the texture maps.
- Normal Strength: Adjust the strength of the normal map to change the visibility of surface details like bumps, grooves, and scratches.
Normal Strength = 1.000 (default)
Normal Strength = 0.000
- Roughness: Change the roughness map intensity to control how much light interacts with the skin’s surface.
Roughness = 0.880 (default)
Roughness = 0.000
- Specular: Adjust the value to determine the intensity of highlights on the skin, the higher the value the more highlights appear on the skin.
Specular = 0.400 (default)
Specular = 0.000
- Micro Normal Tiling: The value determines the amount of tiling for the Normal Map on the entire face or body. Therefore, the higher the value (tiling more times), the more grainy the details look.
Micro Normal Tiling = 20.000 (default)
Micro Normal Tiling = 0.000
- Micro Normal Strength: Controls the visibility of the micro-level details on the skin.
Micro Normal Strength = 18.000 (default)
Micro Normal Strength = 0.000
- SSS Color: Select the color you want for your skin when light passes through it.
- Roughness Advanced: Adjust the roughness of the selected material on the character model. Take the Cheek as an example, modifying the value of the slider can change the Roughness effect on the cheek.
Cheek Roughness Scale = 0.930 (default)
Cheek Roughness Scale = 0.000
- SSS Adv: Adjust the scale of the subsurface scatter's scattering effect of the selected material.
Ear Scatter Scale = 1.000 (default)
Ear Scatter Scale = 0.040
- Wrinkle: Enable and disable the effects of the wrinkle for the selected CC3+ model in 3ds Max.
- Enable/Disable Wrinkle: Toggle the wrinkle texture maps on and off, including the diffuse and normal maps.
Enable the Forehead Lines wrinkles.
Disable the Forehead Lines wrinkles.
- Wrinkle Regions: An image displaying various facial wrinkle regions. Use the drop-down menu below to select the region you wish to adjust.
- Strength: Adjust the intensity of the wrinkle’s normal effect in the selected region.
Strength = 100 (default)
Strength = 0
- Rate of Appearance: Shows how quickly each facial wrinkle responds to facial expressions. Each wrinkle region can have a different speed of activation.
- Enable/Disable Wrinkle: Toggle the wrinkle texture maps on and off, including the diffuse and normal maps.
