Data in Accessories

When you convert a prop to an accessory, the accessory thus is endowed with the ability to keep certain data that a prop cannot have.

  • The Parent node: The parent node (body bone) can be kept in the accessory.

This characteristic ensures that the accessory will always be attached to the identical bone of different characters each time it is applied.
  • The Transform Data: The relative relationships, including the RTS data (rotation, translation and scale), between the accessory and its parent node will be kept by the accessory.

No matter the size of the body parts, the relationship of the RTS between the accessory and its parent node remains each time it is applied to a character.

  • The Layer Order: The layer order for the component pieces of the accessory can be kept as well.

Each time the accessory is applied, the components will be placed in accordance with the layer order information it keeps.
