More about moving

In the Layer Manager, the layers can be under the same group. These layers are highlighted in pink when you select either one of the items in the group.

When you move the Root (or Parent) layer of the group, then the entire group will be driven to move as well.

If you always want to individually move the Root or Parent layer in the group instead of the entire group, then you can activate the Move Element box in the Transformation mode.

Alternatively, you can deactivate this option and press down the E key to temporarily activate this feature.
