Animation Player

The Animation Player is used to control the real-time playback of Character Creator scenes for observing the animations.

Jump to Start Frame

Jumps to the cue in frame of the playback range or the start frame of the whole project.

Previous Frame

Jumps one frame backward.

Play

Playback current project.

Next Frame

Jumps one frame forward.

Jump to End Frame

Jumps to the cue out frame of the playback range or the end frame of the whole project.

Loop On / Off

Toggles playback loop on / off.

Preview / Export Range Switch

Switches to the Preview or Export range modes from the context menu.

Vocal Volume

Adjusts the volume for the talking voice of the character.

Realtime / By Frame

Switches to Realtime or By Frame mode for simulating physics.

Motion List

Click the Motion drop-down list to display the Motion List menu:

  • In this menu, there are quite a few motion templates applicable to the character in the scene.
  • In addition to these poses and motions, you are allowed to load motions into the Perform List.
  • Please refer to the Playback Track and Temporary Space for Motions section for more information about using the Resume command.
  • The Apply Camera command can be activated if you want the preview camera to become the perspective of the camera in these motions.

Remove Motions

Removes the motion or facial expressions of the character. You can also extract a specific pose from the motions using the Create Pose command.

Lock Position

Locks the character to the world center, even though the applied motion is able to make the character roam.

Play Head

Shows the current frame of the project. You can also drag it to any desired frame quickly.

Cue In / Cue Out of Playback / Export Range

Drag these marks to set the cue in and cue out frames for playback or exporting.

Cue In / Cue Out of Preview Range

Drag these marks to set the cue in and cue out frames for preview playback.

Current Time

Shows the current time and frame.

Speed

Increases or decreases the playback speed.

Turntable

Click this button to select turntable directly. You can then adjust the settings for the turntable in the Modify panel.

Mini View

Switches the Animation Player to mini-view.

  1. Normal View: Click this button to switch the Animation Player to normal view.
  2. Loop: Toggles playback loop on/off.
  3. Play: Plays back the current project.
  4. Play Head: Shows the current frame of the project. You can also drag it to any desired frame quickly.
  5. Speed: Increases or decreases the playback speed.
  6. Close: Click this button to close the Animation Player.
