About fbxkey file (New for v. 4.4)

The FBX Key file ensures the correctness of the skin and bone status when you load back the FBX Character File modified in external 3D tools. Moreover, please keep these two files together when you want to move and share the FBX Character.

The FBX key file contains the following data:

• DRM Base Content Information.
• Meta Data:
  • Bone scale for each bone of the character.
  • Body skin weight for each vertex on the character.
  • Clothing type such as cloth, gloves or shoes.

You must load the FBX key file when you import an FBX character from other 3D tools to ensure correct body shape and clothing types.
