Checking Texture Effects with Channel View Mode

Since Character Creator support up to 8K textures, you can change to different lighting or rendering modes for better observation of the texture results within the viewport.

Switching Method

On the camera toolbar, use the drop-down list as marked in the following illustration:

General

Base Lighting

Base Color

World Normal

Metallic (Texture must not be complete black)

Roughness

Specular Mask

Ambient Occlusion
