Manually Hiding Specific Inner Meshes

Manually hiding facilitates the expulsion of penetrating meshes. It is especially useful after you load a custom cloth mesh with the external 3D tools because the various shapes of the cloth can cause penetration issues frequently. You need to manually set the penetrated faces hidden with the features provided in Character Creator.

After you use the Conform Clothing feature, you may encounter the penetration issue as shown below:

  1. Select the mesh whose faces penetrate the outer layer cloth, and enter the Edit Mesh Mode by clicking the Edit Mesh Mode button in the Modify panel >> Edit tab >> Mesh Modifier section.
  2. Select the penetrated faces.
  3. Click the Hide button to hide these meshes.
  4. Click the Edit Mesh Mode button again to view the result.

    Note:

    Click on the Show button in order to show the meshes that you do not want to hide.
