Loading Character Pose

The Default Pose for the CC Characters is the T-pose. However, by applying iMotion templates, one can adjust it to any pose.

Loading Character Pose

1. Create a new character or use a default character.
   
2. There are two ways to apply iMotion:
   • Drag and drop iMotion templates directly from Character Creator Content Manager >> Pose >> Body >> Motion library.
     
     
     Note:

     You can click the Pose button on the toolbar to quickly switch to the motion folder.
     

   • Drag and drop iMotion templates directly the from iClone Content Manager.
     
   • Search for the iMotion templates in your system. If you have installed iClone 5, iClone 6 or iClone 7, then the default iMotion directory path are as shown below:
     Win 7, Win 8, Win 10:
     C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 5 Template\iClone Template\Motion\
     C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 6 Template\iClone Template\Motion\
     C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 7 Template\iClone Template\Motion\
     
3. Drag and drop the motion template onto the character in Character Creator.
   
   The character then strike the desired pose.
   
   Note:

   • This pose thus can be set as default pose of the character to be used in both iClone and Character Creator. Please refer to the Creating Default Pose section for more information.
   • If the iMotion you want to apply is a motion clip, then only the start pose of the motion will be extracted and applied to the character.
