Importing Designed Assets

After you have modify or create an assets (clothes, hair, etc.) based on the CC character exported in the Modifications from Existing Clothed Character step, you can import them into Character Creator to generate unique assets.

  1. Prepare the assets (clothes, hair, etc.)
  2. Export the entire character back as FBX again.
  3. Go back to Character Creator and execute the File >> Import command. Load the FBX exported in the previous step.

    Load the Decrypt Key File you get in the Modification from Existing Clothed Character section. Then click the OK button.

  4. You will encounter a checkpoint panel to ensure the data from the FBX is correct.
  5. Click the OK button to load the FBX file.

    Optionally use the Calibration panel to check the clothing in different poses.
