Material Types
In the PBR Substance Preset, by default, there are 7 available materials (Base, Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta) defined by Color ID texture map. And for each material, there are several embedded material types, and they are: Input Maps, Generator - Leather / Wood, Embed - Fabric, Embed - Leather, Embed - Metallic and Embed - Other (Basket Weave and Fur).
Creating Materials from Scratch
If you want to create a material from scratch, then you can choose this item from the drop-down list:
You must then load prepared textures for 8 channels (Base Color, Normal, Emissive, Roughness, Metallic, Height, Opacity and AO).
You are able to use the settings within the sections shown in the illustration to adjust the material.Note:
Although the settings in the Generator section are available, they do not have any influence to the material of this type.
Creating by Generator (Leather and Wood)
You can create customized leather or wood materials from scratch when you select this item from the list.
All settings in the sections can be used for further adjustments to the material.Note:
Please refer to the Using Generator section for more information.
Creating with Embedded Materials (Fabric, Leather, Metal)
Fabric
To generate fabric with embedded settings, choose the Embed - Fabric from the Material Type drop-down list.
By selecting the Embed – Fabric item, some embedded fabric types will show in the Fabric Type drop-down list. You can choose the desired type and adjust the settings in the sub sections of the material to customize the fabric looks.
You are able to use the settings within the sections shown in the illustration to adjust the material:

By selecting the Embed – Leather item, some embedded leather types will show in the Leather Type drop-down list. You can choose the desired type and adjust the settings in the sub sections of the material to customize the leather looks.

Creating with Embedded Fur and Basket Weave
To generate fur or basket weave with embedded settings, choose the Embed - Other from the Material Type drop-down list.
By selecting the Embed – Other item, two more embedded types that can not be categorized will show in the Other Type drop-down list. You can choose the desired type and adjust the settings in the sections to customize their looks.
