Importing iHair (New for v8.1)
Any 3D actor in CrazyTalk can accept hair in *.iHair format. The hair can be created in iClone Character Creator and then saved as iHair in iClone.

- All CrazyTalk 8 users, please refer to CrazyTalk 8 Starter Kit 1.
- iClone 6 Pro, iClone Character Creator and CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline users, please refer to The Hottest Hair Styles and Party Fun packs online for *.iHair format.
Importing Free or Purchased iHair
- Prepare a 3D actor (with or without hair).
- If you have installed iClone or any *.iHair packs shown in the beginning of this web page, then go to the directory where they are stored.
- iClone CC Hair Directory by default: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 6 Template\iClone Template\CC Hair
- iClone G5 Hair Directory by default: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 6 Template\iClone Template\Hair\G5 Hair
- Choose the desired template from the directory.
- Drag and drop the template onto the 3D actor prepared in Step 1.
- Open the Accessory Settings panel.
- Select the hair from the list (in this case, the RL_Hair) and transform the hair or adjust the color of it.
Creating Custom iHair
Creating custom hair is a pipeline that involves CrazyTalk v8.1 or above, iClone v6.5 or above and iClone Character Creator v1.5 or above. If you have not installed either one of them yet, then please skip this section.
- Launch iClone Character Creator and then create a custom hair. Please refer to the iClone Character Creator online manual for more information about creating custom hair.
- Export the character as an iAvatar.
- Drag and drop the iAvatar into iClone.
- Select the hair and save it as a custom iHair template.
- Prepare a 3D actor in CrazyTalk.
- Drag and drop this hair onto the actor.
