Navigation Tools

  1. Frame: There are three ways for framing the animation graph. You can select them from the drop down list by clicking the down arrow next to the icon of this button.
    • Frame: Clicking Frame will fit all of the visible graph according to the time range and value range.
    • Horizontally Frame: Clicking Horizontally Frame will fit all of the visible graph according to the time range.

    • Vertically Frame: Clicking Vertically Frame will fit all of the visible graph according to the value range.
  2. Pan:
    • Use the Pan mode to navigate around the viewing area of the Graph Editor.
    • Or hold Alt while in the Select mode to temporarily Pan the viewing area and let go of Alt to return to Select mode.
    • Ctrl + Scroll:
      • The mouse wheel controls the vertical scrolling of the viewing area.
      • While holding Ctrl, the mouse wheel starts to horizontally scroll the viewing area.
  3. Zoom: There are four ways for zooming on the graph. You can select them from the drop down list by clicking the down arrow next to the icon of this button.
    • Zoom:
      • Use the mouse wheel to activate zoom in and zoom out.
      • The cursor position dictates the centering for the zoom.
    • Horizontally Zoom: Under Horizontally Zoom mode, the use of Ctrl + mouse wheel will only contract and expand the horizontal time axis.
    • Vertically Zoom: Under Vertically Zoom mode, the use of Shift + mouse wheel will only contract and expand the vertical value axis.
    • Zoom Region: Under Zoom Region mode, drag a marquee around the keys to zoom into.
