Camera Types and Settings (New for v 1.1)
iClone AccuFACE works with any camera device, ranging from static webcams to head-mounted cameras.
The settings of these two types of cameras are as follows:
- In AccuFACE open the Source drop-down menu.
Note: ‘OBS Virtual Camera’ is a plugin provided by OBS. To remove it, simply delete this plugin from your OBS installation. - Select the desired input device from the drop-down list.
- Set the Tracking Mode.
- For regular stationary cameras: Set the mode to ‘Static Cam’. This mode is ideal for stationary cameras set at a fixed distance.
- For head-mounted cameras: Opt for the ‘Head Cam’ mode. This mode is best suited for cameras that are mounted closely to the actor’s face. It can compensate for camera lens distortion and strong fisheye distortion.
- Adjust the Resolution and Tracking FPS for the calibration data captured from the camera.Note:
In the panel, you can adjust the Resolution and Tracking FPS settings to access all available camera-supported frame rates (FPS) and resolutions.
- Recommended high-quality PC cameras:
- Logitech Brio Ultra HD, 60 fps
- Logitech HD Pro C920, 30 fps
- You have the flexibility to increase the camera resolution to the highest available, but please be aware that doing so may lower the FPS automatically due to the high resolution.
- For the best quality, set the resolution to one that supports at least 30 FPS.
- If you are unable to achieve 60 FPS, it may be due to suboptimal lighting conditions. Fix this by disabling the Low Light Compensation setting on your webcam software (for models like Logitech C922).
