Finding Lost Files in Packs (New for v1.2)

Occasionally, content files might appear missing in some packs due to being manually moved elsewhere or even deleted. Use the methods in this page to restore the missing content.

Files in Unknown Folder (or Deleted)

This method is suitable for assets that are missing or accidentally deleted.

  1. Right-click on one of the missing files. Execute the Reinstall from Server command from the context menu.
  2. The pack will be re-installed from the server.
  3. Double-click to open the pack and all missing files appear again in the pack after the re-installation.

Solutions:

Files in Known Folder

This method is suitable for the installed or custom assets (the permanently deleted custom assets are excluded).

The following example is to find the lost file in the custom pack. However, it applies to the installed packs as well.

  1. Right-click on one of the missing files. Execute the Find Lost File command from the context menu.
  2. Browse to find the file and select it.
  3. Click the Open button and the missing file reappears in the pack.
  4. You can follow the same steps to retrieve the missing files one by one.
