Updating Expressions / Wrinkles settings
The Update to Character Creator > Update Expressions / Wrinkles section contains settings that let you update your character expressions and wrinkles to Character Creator (CC). The update settings include options for wrinkle texture maps, expression morphs, individualized/generalized texture maps, and choosing expressions.
The Expression and Wrinkle settings include options for updating expression morphs and lets you convert your wrinkle mesh displacement details into normal maps, as well as turning the wrinkle polypaint into diffuse maps.
When activated, Face Tools will only update the selected expressions in SDiv1 to CC.

For generalized wrinkles, you can derive among two texture types to send to CC.
This setting will combine all the wrinkle diffuse and normal maps into a single texture for each wrinkle set to ensure a more faithful update of polypaint and normal details.
The Generalized setting preserves all facial wrinkle diffuse and normal maps as separate maps in a source folder that the CC wrinkle system can access. It is typically used for sharing neutral wrinkle texture maps with multiple CC3+ models. As none of the texture maps are merged, this feature enhances compatibility with other features of the CC wrinkle system.
Generalized setting will transform your wrinkle polypaint into AO in CC. The intensity of the AO effect depends on the overall tone of the polypaint.
