Aligning Orientation to Target Object

The Align to panel lets you align objects by position and orientation.

1. Prepare a new project with several objects.
   
2. Select one of the objects.
   
3. Click the Align to button on the General Toolbar.
   
4. When the cursor changes to a picker, select an object for target orientation.
   
5. Activate the XYZ check box in the Align to panel, click the OK button.
   
6. The object's direction will be aligned to the target object.
   
7. Multi-select the other objects within the scene.
   
8. Repeat the same steps from step 3 to 5.
9. These objects will be reoriented as well.
   
10. You can also use the Align to X, Y or Z to move the selected objects to the position of the target object.
