Strand Color
The strand color settings are used to define the gradient colors from
the root to the tip of a hair strand.
A strand of hair meshes --> Tinted colors (root to tip) --> Strands of meshes with tint colors
In the Strand section, you can tint desired colors to the roots or tips areas defined by the Hair Root Map.
- Root Color and End Color: You can use the color
picker to set the colors for the hair roots and ends.
- Advanced Settings:
- Blend Mode: The drop-down list determines the blending method with the Base Color texture by the hair root and tip colors, including Normal, Multiply, Overlay and Soft Light.
Blend Mode = Normal
Blend Mode = Multiply
Blend Mode = Overlay
Blend Mode = Soft Light
- Global Strength:
This slider determines the strength of the designated hair root
and tip colors.
Global Strength = 0.500
Global Strength = 1.000
- Root Color Strength:
You can use this slider to set the tint strength for the hair roots.
Root Color Strength = 1.000
Root Color Strength = 0.500
- End Color Strength:
You can use this slider to set the tint strength for the hair ends.
End Color Strength = 1.000
End Color Strength = 0.500
- Invert Root and End Color: Use this slider to set the level for inverting the roots and tips dying colors.
InvertRootTip = 0.000
InvertRootTip = 1.000
