Specular Metallic

The Specular Metallic parameters are used to define the highlight reflections on the skin. You can find the settings for adjusting the Specular Metallic sub-section under the Shader Setting section in the Modify panel.

  • Specular: This value determines the strength of the reflecting highlight on the face.

    Specular = 0.400 (default)

    Specular = 5.000

  • SSS Metallic Threshold: If the grayscale data in the Metallic channel is above the threshold, then it will be pure metal, otherwise, it will be metallic with SSS effect.

    Metallic Texture = 60 % gray

    SSS Metallic Threshold = 0.590

    Pure metallic skin without SSS effect.

    Metallic Texture = 60 % gray

    SSS Metallic Threshold = 0.610

    Metallic skin blended with SSS effect.

  • Inner Mouth AO: If you have divided the inner mouth area by the Green Channel of the MN Mask & AO texture, then you can use this slider to adjust the Gradient AO strength in the mouth.

    Inner Mouth AO = 2.500

    Inner Mouth AO = 1.500

  • Nostril AO: If you have divided the nostril area by the Blue Channel of the MN Mask & AO texture, then you can use this slider to adjust the Gradient AO strength in the nostrils.

    Nostril AO = 2.500

    Nostril AO = 1.500

  • Lips Gap AO: If you have divided the lips gap area by the Alpha Channel of the MN Mask & AO texture, then you can use this slider to adjust the Gradient AO strength on the lips.

    Lips Gap AO = 2.500

    Lips Gap AO = 1.500
