Area Mask Textures

  • The character's face is divided into different areas by means of three textures, NMUIL Mask, Ear Neck Mask and CFULC Mask.

    The purpose is so that you can then adjust the Roughness and Subsurface Scatter settings for the individual areas.
  • NMUIL Mask: This texture defines the areas of Nose, Mouth, Upper Eyelids and Inner Eyelids by the data in the Red, Green, Blue and Alpha channels.
  • Ear Neck Mask: This texture defines the areas of Neck and Ears by the data in the Red and Green channels.
  • CFULC Mask:This texture defines the areas of Cheek, Forehead, Upper Lip and Chin by the data in the Red, Green, Blue and Alpha channels.
