Control Area

There are two modes for setting the control area for puppeteering, one is the entire view-port and the other is based on a resizable cross-hair.

  • Confine Face Puppet area to 3D viewport: If you choose this radio button, then the control area for puppeteering is limited in the entire 3D view-port (highlighted in light blue in the illustration):
  • Fit to the shortest side of the screen: When puppeteering starts, there will be a cross-hair shown on the screen.

    The cross-hair is centered on the last location of the mouse cursor upon previewing or recording.

    The cursor position before previewing or recording.

    The cross-hair repositions to where the cursor is.

    The inner circle set the facial expression strength to under 50% while the outer ring, 51 to 100%.

    You can use the Percentage slider to determine the size of the crosshair.

    Percentage = 50

    Percentage = 100
