There are some notices you need to know when you wish to export Panorama Videos.

The Changes of Camera View

When the Exporting Panorama feature is turned on, the camera view will be automatically changed to square view in order to be correctly stitched.

Each of the cameras in the project will be set to Wide-Angle (12 mm focal length) when the Exporting Panorama feature is turned on.

ClosedNote:

The value of the camera lens for Panorama Videos is strict. Therefore, you are not allowed to customize this value when the Exporting Panorama feature is turned on.

Limitations

There are also some limitations when you wish to export a Panorama Video:

  • Output Suggestions:
    • You can turn on the Super Sampling feature to eliminate the fuzzy quality when the Exporting Panorama feature is turned on.
    • Turning the Super Sampling feature is a trade off for better quality vs. the rendering time.
      e.g. A 4K project with 3,000 frames:
      Super Sampling = 4 hours + Better Quality
      non-Super Sampling = 1.5 hours + Normal Quality
  • Repetitive Items: The Image Layer and 2D Background will be repetitive because each of the 6 camera views renders them before being stitched.

  • Seam Issues: If you apply special effects, such as HDR - Tone Map, HDR - Glare , SpeedTree with LOD, Shadows and Toon Shader, the seam where the 6 camera views where stiched will be very obvious (The example below is a project applied with the HDR-Tone Map).

  • Exclusive with Stereo Video Output: The Exporting Panorama feature cannot be applied in collaboration with 3D Stereo output.
