Facial Profile (New for v. 8.6)
In iClone, character's facial expressions are defined by morph sliders in the Facial Profile. Drive morph shapes with sliders to deform facial features and create different expressions. You can only apply them to almost any character with different details of the facial expressions. To edit the morph shapes, you need to send the character to Character Creator for further adjustments.
Currently, there are 4 types of facial profiles:
For iClone 8.5
Install the Character free content pack and you will find the two embedded facial profiles: CC4 Standard and CC4 Extended.
- 65 morph sliders (head movements excluded).
- Drives basic expression sliders to generate expressions.
- Mapping the maximum value for each morph slider to the morphed expression shape of facial features.
- You can find the 60+ sliders in the Face Key > Modify page.

- 146 morph sliders (neck and head movements excluded).
- Drives more expression sliders to generate expressions.
- Mapping the maximum value for each morph slider to the morphed expression shape of facial features.
- You can find the 140+ sliders in the Face Key > Modify page.

For iClone 8.6
Install the CC5 Character free content pack (Character Creator must be installed first) and you will find the embedded facial profile: CC5 HD.
- Character must be send to Character Creator to activate the Corrective Expression sliders.
- 146 expression morph sliders (neck and head movements excluded).
- 68 corrective morph sliders for correcting the issues caused by the combination of the 146 expression morph sliders.
- 26non-linear sliders for realistic facial motion capturing results
- Refer to the Extended Plus Introduction section for more information.
- Simply apply the CC5 HD facial profile.
- 146 expression morph sliders (neck and head movements excluded).
- 128 corrective morph sliders for correcting the issues caused by the combination of the 146 expression morph sliders.
