Textures
There are three textures utilized by the Digital_Human Teeth Gum shader, the Gums Mask, the Gradient AO and the Micro Normal.
- Gums Mask: This texture divides the mesh into teeth and gums areas. The white one is for teeth and the rest is for the gums.
- Gradient AO:
- This texture is used to define the front and back areas and also the AO effect on the teeth and gums.
- The tongue, teeth and gums share this texture. The Red channel is for the lower teeth and gum, the Green channel is for the upper teeth and gum, while the Blue channel is for the tongue.
- The white color defines the front area and vice versa.
- Upper Teeth:
- Lower Teeth:
- Upper Teeth:
- The settings for this texture can be found in the Teeth and Gums Setting sub-section.
- Micro Normal:
- This texture is overlapped onto the Bump channel in the Texture section in order to give fine lines and intricate details to the teeth and gums.
