NavMesh Area Setting (New for v. 8.4)
NavMeshes may break into pieces with certain settings and increases
of the Radius parameter. Actors may not be able to
reach fragmented NavMeshes, even though their existence still has an
adverse impact on the system performance. You can use the Area
parameter to remove the unused NavMesh fragments and islands.
- Increasing the Radius may cause the NavMesh to
break into pieces.
- Increase the Area setting (in this case, to 1000) to remove the NavMesh
surfaces that have an area smaller or equal to this value.
