The Motion Library in the Animation section is for storing human motions and prop animations.
Using Controls of the Motion Library
Import: Load one or more animation(s) or motion files.
Explore: Click this button to open the iClone human motion folder.
(C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 6 Template\iClone Template\Motion)
Delete: Delete the selected file.
Delete All: Delete all files in the Motion Library.
Add to Perform: Add the selected file in the list to the Perform Editor. Only the items
in the Perform Editor can be packed into a prop (*.iProp) or
exported into iClone human motion (*.iMotion).
Add All to Perform: Add all files in the list to the Perform Editor.
Apply to iClone (for character only): Apply the selected motion file to the selected character in iClone
for previewing motion results.
Load Animations for Prop
In order to load animations for a prop, you need to follow the regulations below:
You must have loaded a prop.
The animation must be based on the prop and exported in .FBX format.
Click the Import button to load one or more animation files.
Alternatively, you may drag and drop the files into the Motion Library.
Drag and drop the animation files into the Motion Library.
The animation files that are to be loaded must be in the same format. Files in different formats cannot be simultaneously loaded.
If you do not want to have a character and still need to convert a motion, then you need to
characterize a motion first.
The human motions must be based on human-shaped (4 limbs) characters and in .FBX, .BVH formats.
Load one or more human motion file(s) into the Motion Library by clicking the
Import button.
Alternatively, you may drag and drop the files into the Motion Library.
Drag and drop the motion files into the Motion Library.
The motion files that are to be loaded must be in the same format. Files in different formats can not be simultaneously loaded.
The loaded motion files will need to be characterized as well.
