Blend Map

The Blend Map parameters are used to adjust the Strength of the Base Color Blend Map and Normal Blend Map textures in the Texture sub-section; also, the Brightness and Saturation of the Base Color texture in the Texture Settings section. The adjustments leave the original texture untouched while you style the skin tone.

  • Base Color Blend Map Strength: This slider can be used to adjust the strength of the Base Color Blend Map texture.

    Base Color Blend Map Strength = 1.000 (default)

    Base Color Blend Map Strength = 0.000

  • Normal Blend Map Strength: A Normal Blend Map texture is the second Normal texture that blends onto the original Normal texture for adding more details on the facial skin. This slider can be used to change the strength of its effect.

    Normal Blend Map Strength = 1.000 (default)

    Normal Blend Map Strength = 0.000

    The facial skin is smoother with only the Normal and Micro Normal effects.

  • Base Color Blend Map Brightness: This value adjust the brightness of the facial Base Color texture.

    Base Color Blend Map Brightness = 0.000 (default)

    Base Color Blend Map Brightness = 0.100

  • Base Color Blend Map Saturation: You can use this slider to adjust the color saturation of the facial Base Color texture.

    Base Color Blend Map Saturation = 0.000

    Base Color Blend Map Saturation = 0.100
