CC5 Extended Plus Facial Profile Introduction

In the past, Character Creator characters could only use the Standard or Extended Facial Profiles (160 expression morph sliders). While these already allowed for fairly realistic expressions, certain facial movements couldn't be fully achieved.

With CC5, the new Extended Plus Facial Profile has been introduced, offering a more complete and expressive facial rig—enabling characters to perform facial expressions that closely match those of real humans.

The Extended Plus Facial Profile increases morph sliders from 160 to 254 (including Corrective Expression and Non-linear sliders) for corrective and realistic facial expressions:

• Corrective Expression Sliders: 68 sliders. Mainly correct the animation flaws by different combination of expression sliders, especially the mouth.
  
• Non-linear Sliders: The Extended Plus Facial Profiles introduces 50 non-linear sliders for realistic facial motion capturing results by enhancing the expression details and fixing expression flaws by different combination of facial feature expression morphing sliders.
