Point Light

The Point Light is used to light up a part of the scene. It's illumination goes in all directions from a single center point. With this type of light you can simulate torches, candles, and light bulbs. Note that in Character Creator, point lights do not produces any shadows.

Utilizing Point Lights

In the following example, the magic rings are actually a prop mapped with glow textures; it does not give off real light at all. By placing a Point Light at the same place, you can create an illusion that the prop is emissive.
