Image Requirement for Pro Mode
Formats
The image used for realistic 3D head generation should be a clear, well lit picture of a full head facing front, with nothing obscuring the facial features. The film format of the image can be .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif or .tiff.
Lighting
Photos with light evenly distributed on the face, without shadow on certain area.
Face
- No exaggerated expression, teeth remain hidden
- Do not wear glasses or spectacles
Cropping
A photos shows the full head is the best for head generating, there is no need to include the neck or all of the hair in the photo. A photo which includes too much unnecessary information might can cause issues of the workflow later (e.g. Image Matching Tool). Pro Mode generates a high resolution face without hair geometry. It is okay even part of the hair is cropped in the image as long as the whole face is clear. For more information regarding how cropping can affect the generating result, please refer to the tutorial.
Head Angle
The best head angle for head generating is facing forward without rotating or tilting. Correct the head angle in the image before loading improves the projection result of the face texture.
Image Resolution
Pro Mode produce texture with 4K resolution. Head photos with resolution higher than 4096 x 4096 are recommended.
