Update Eyes, Teeth and Tongue
The Update Eyes, Teeth & Tongue function lets you edit the polypaint and mesh structure of your character model in ZBrush.
When using the ZBrush Face Tools, the ‘Update Eyes, Teeth & Tongue’ feature is deactivated by default to streamline the transitioning process between expressions. Only activate this feature when you need to edit the eyes, teeth, and tongue subtools.
- In ZBrush Face Tools, activate the Update Eyes, Teeth & Tongue function.
- Apply polypaint and mesh edits to multiple subtools in ZBrush.
The default model in Character Creator (CC)- Adding Polypaint in ZBrush:

CC_Base_Lower_Teeth
CC_Base_Tongue
- Mesh editing in ZBrush:

Note:The ‘CC_Base_Eye’ subtool’s mesh structure can not be edited in ZBrush. If you wish to make edits to this subtool, you will need to do so in CC.
- Adding Polypaint in ZBrush:
- Update the model to CC by pressing the Update to Character Creator button.
The polypaint and mesh edits applied to the subtools have been successfully updated back to CC.- Polypaint result:
