Tag System for Actors, Accessories and Motions (New in version 8.5)

Tagging can be used to match actors to accessories, iMD files and motions within the Crowd Generator roster pools. Different accessories motions and iMDs can be automatically applied to deployed actors as soon as they are generated. The tag system in iClone is used to match actors to accessories, iMD files and motions within the Crowd Generator roster pools.

By default, there will be embedded tags in the list, Male, Female, Aged, Elderly, Child, Adult and Teen, which can not be edit. If you want to add custom tags, then follow the steps below:

1. Display the Edit Tag panel using either of two methods:
   • Right-click on a character, choose the Edit Tags command from the context menu.
     
   • Click the Edit Tags button in the Crowd Generator panel.
     
     
2. The Edit Tag panel will show.

3. Type in the desired tag name in the text field.

4. Click the + button next to the text field. The custom tag of the desired name will be added into the Used tags list.

5. You will see the new tag added into the drop-down list for each actor and motion in the pools.

6. You can also activate these checkboxes in the list to add the tag for each item in the pools.
