Rotate Amplitude

The Rotate Amplitude in the Wave section can be enabled and seamlessly combined with other settings, allowing for the incorporation of swaying sub-animations alongside the primary animations.

  1. Create a new project.
  2. Select the target object, like this leaf, and enter the Motion Pilot mode.
  3. Activate the Move and Scale checkboxes under the Transform section. Then enable Face Cursor and also load an animation under the Motion section.
    *You can also adjust more settings under the Transform and Motion sections.
  4. Click the Preview button and press the Spacebar to start previewing.
  5. At the bottom of this section, you can activate the Use Mouse Movement checkbox and adjust the Speed for produce the wave by the mouse movement.

    Although you need to keep moving to apply the wave effect, the speed of the object can be completely controlled by your mouse moving pace.
  6. If you are satisfied with the moving result, then press the Preview button again to stop preview mode.
  7. Press down the Record button and hit the space key to start recording the driven movements.
  8. Press the space key again to stop recording.
  9. Open the timeline and click the Transform button. As you can see the Transform track is filled up with keys.
  10. You can also select multiple objects to apply waves to them.
