Triggering Template Motion with Mouse Click
In addition to moving the mouse cursor to trigger the blend motions for puppetry, you can determine the timing for starting the blending motion by mouse click.

Click
- Create a scene and an object for puppetry. In this case, a wing character
with bone structure.
- Make sure the object is selected and enter the Motion Pilot mode.
- Activate the Move checkbox and adjust
the settings in its section.
You can also click the folder icon to import another animation, or click the trashcan icon to delete the animation. - Choose Use
Mouse Click > Click to play.
Refer to the Producing Animation with Template Only section for more information. - Click the
Preview button and press the Spacebar
to start previewing. By clicking the mouse button, the
animation will be played once. You can click the mouse
button anytime during puppetry.
- If you are satisfied with the moving result, then press the Preview button again to stop preview mode.
- Press down the Record button and hit the space key to start recording the driven movements.
- Press the space key again to stop recording.
- Open the timeline and click the Transform button. As you can see the puppeteering results are individually recorded as keys and clip in the Transform, Flip and Motion tracks.

- Create a new project, set a scene, and load the object prepared in the previous section.
- Make sure the object is selected and start the Motion Pilot mode.
- Activate the Move checkbox in the
Transform section and adjust the settings
in this group.
- In the Wave section, activate the
Rotate checkbox and adjust the settings in
this group.
- Click the Preview button and press the
Spacebar to start previewing.
- Scroll down to the Motion section, activate the Blend Motion checkbox.
- Click the Open File button and load the animation created in the previous section.
You can also click the open folder icon to import another motion or animation, or click the trash can button to delete the motion or animation. - Choose the Use Mouse Click radio button and choose the Click to Loop sub-radio button.
Refer to the Producing Animation with Template Only section for more information. - Press down the Preview button and hit the space key to start previewing. By clicking the mouse button, the motion or animation will be played repeatedly.
** You can click mouse button again to stop the motion or animation. - If you are satisfied with the moving result, then press the Preview button again to stop preview mode.
