Grouping Colors by Colors
In the Composer mode, you can group different colors into different groups in order that you can simultaneously adjust the colors in a same group. For simple props, grouping by colors is the most easy method.
First Time Grouping
If the shapes of the object (prop) are not grouped, then follow the steps below:
- Create an object (in this case, a prop).
- Switch to the Composer mode and click the SVG Group Editor button on the toolbar.
- Choose the Group by Colors radio button in the Auto Color Group panel. This step groups the shapes that are of the same color.
- Click the Process button to auto-distribute the same color shapes into individual groups. The SVG Group Editor will display on the screen.
- Click on the group and the shapes in the group will blink one the screen.
- Expand the group and select one of the items in it and the corresponding shape will blink alone.
- You are allowed to customize the Group-Shape structure with the SVG Group Editor.
- Close the SVG Group Editor and you can adjust the groups and their shapes with the SVG Color Adjustment panel.
Grouping after First Time
If the shapes have been grouped by colors, by sprites or by customization and you want to group by colors again, then follow the steps below:
- Switch to the Composer mode and click the SVG Group Editor button on the toolbar.
- You will see the grouped colors in the Full mode. Click the SVG Group Editor button at the bottom left corner of the panel.
- The Auto Color Group panel will show again. Choose the Group by Color radio button and click the Process button.
- System prompts a message, which warns that the current groups will be replaced by the new ones. Click the OK button.
- The color shapes will be group again.
- You are allowed to customize the Group-Shape structure with the SVG Group Editor.
- Close the SVG Group Editor and you can adjust the groups and their shapes with the SVG Color Adjustment panel.
You can also manually reorganize the group structure afterward.
