The Concepts of Expression Wrinkles System (New for v. 4.2)
In Character Creator, generating wrinkles using the expression wrinkle system involves two aspects: mesh-based facial morphs and texture-based expression wrinkles.
- Neutral Face Shape: The initial face shape of the character. You can sculpt the shape with the paid "Smile_Line" morph sliders. Refer to the following sections for more information.
- Facial Expressions (Mesh Wrinkles): The character's expressions are generated by specific expression sliders in the Edit Facial panel. You can enhance the expression sliders to create mesh folds with paid "Smile_Line" morph sliders. Refer to the following section for more information.
- Expression Wrinkles (Texture Wrinkle Details): The wrinkle details can be depicted
with diffuse, normal and roughness textures. You can modify the textures or the source maps that
are used to generate these three textures. Refer to the following sections for more information.
