Loading a Video or Single Image

  1. Click the Import File button.
  2. Locate the target file in *.AVI, *.WMV, *.MPG, *.MPEG, *.MOV format and click the Open button.

After the file is loaded, you will see the relevant information in the Source Information section of the Info Panel.

Note

  • The default supported file formats are:

    Image: BMP, JPG, TGA, PNG, Sequence BMP, Sequence JPG, Sequence TGA, and Sequence PNG.

    Video: AVI, WMV, Mpeg, Mpg, MOV and popVideo.

  • popVideos exported from iClone version 8.1 or higher, Character Creator version 4.1 or higher, and Cartoon Animator version 5.0 or higher are not supported.

 

Loading Sequenced Images

If you prepare sequenced images using external software, then you may import them into popVideo to generate transparent videos as well.

  1. Click the Import File button.
  2. Select the sequenced image with a least set of numerical suffix of the name and click the Open button. popVideo loads all the numbered file with the same prefix of the names.
  3. Set the Frame Rate in the Export panel to the same value when these sequence files are generated.

 

Loading Files in Specific File Formats

The files in special video format such as *.MP4, *.MTS, *.M2V, *.M2T, *.AVC and *.M2TS can not be dragged in, but they are still compatible with popVideo.

  1. Click the Import File button.
  2. In the format field, type in "*.*" in order to show all kind of videos.
  3. The video files in the formats mentioned can thus be displayed. Select the desired one and click the Open button to load it.
