Substance Tab for Outfits

Substance is a hyper-material that embeds as many channels as necessary, such as diffuse, height, normal, specular, etc. It is dynamic, multi-layered combinations of texture maps. It can be modified and adjusted in real-time. And it provides source textures for the channels in each materials of the character's skin, hair, clothes and accessories. The Substance Tab contains adjustable parameters for altering the shapes and appearances of the character.

Modes: Click these tab buttons to switch to Skin, Makeup or Outfits mode for further Substance material editing.

Tree View: It shows in the character-related items before the Activate Appearance Editor button is pressed down. And displays the Substance tree view after that.

  • Before: It shows all the items related to the character, including the actor itself, body parts, clothes, and accessories.
  • After: More sub-items are shown. You can use the settings in them to change the appearance of their parent item.

Show Sub Items: Only works in the Body Adjusting and Substance mode for displaying all subset settings when the parent node is selected.

Activate Appearance Editor button: Press down this button to disclose the settings of the chosen substance mentioned in the 4th point. Press it again to enclose these settings.

This pane lists the sub-items related to the one you choose in the tree view and you can map ideal substance templates for these items in the pane.
