Using MD Prop - T5 Dolly Nodes

The MD Prop - The T5 Dolly Node is used to make the character interact with the MD Prop using the motions embedded in the MD Prop.

Supported MD Props:

T5 Dolly

  1. Create a project with a character and a T5 Dolly MD prop.

  2. Select the MD prop and open the MD Behavior to observe the integrated interaction motions.
  3. Open the MP Node Graph panel. Right-click on the viewport space and choose Motion Node > MD Prop - T5 Dolly.

    A new MD Prop - T5 Dolly node will be inserted on view.
  4. Drag a flow line from the Start node’s output and connect it to the MD Prop - T5 Dolly node’s input.

    Note that you can also associate object and MP node with Pick from Scene method.
  5. Select the node and adjust the settings in the Attributes page.

    • MD Prop: Set the field to associate the node with the target MD Prop. If you use the dropper tool, click the waypoint marker (the flat disk with double arrows) instead of the model’s mesh.
    • Character: Set the field to associate the node with the target character.
    • Motion: Select the desired motion (embedded in the waypoint) to be triggered by the node when the flow proceeds to this node.
    • Interruptible: When used together with a node from the Condition Node category, the motion driven by this node can be forcibly interrupted.
  6. Start the Go MD Mode to view the animation result.
  7. Connect an Auto Move node to the T5 node’s output to have the character move within a zone.
