Settings in Appearance Editor - Coloration
Head Materials - Hemoglobin
Contains the mask for the layer effect (in this case, the face).
Refer to the Layer Mask section for more information.
This section contains settings to adjust the normal and micro-normal strength. Make sure the Normal Strength and Micro Normal Strength in the following sub-section, Material, are not set to 0 for have these two settings taking effects.
- Normal Strength: This slider sets the strength of the normal effect on the skin region defined by the Range texture.
Normal Strength = 0.50
Normal Strength = 1.00
- Micro Normal Strength: This slider sets the strength of the micro-normal effect on the skin region as well.
Micro Normal Strength = -1.00
Micro Normal Strength = 1.00
These Part Sections can be used to modify the discoloration in different regions. They contain settings to adjust different regions on the mesh by means of individual mask textures.
Each Part section contains three sub-sections: Texture Settings, Material and Range. You can activate or deactivate the settings by check on or off the Active checkbox. In this section, the Part 1 - Face is taken as an example.
This sections contains a mask channel, Range, to define the region that the settings in this section affect.
The settings in this sub-section are used to adjust the Range mask aforementioned in the Texture Settings section.
- Blur: The entire mask becomes more blurry with this setting.
Blur = 0.00
Blur = 0.10
- Expansion: Increase or decrease the size of the masked region.
Expansion = -0.22
Expansion = -0.15
- Contrast: Adjust this setting to sharpen the edges of the masked regions.
Contrast = 0.60
Contrast = 0.90
These settings can be used to adjust the lines within the range.
- Color and Color Opacity: This setting change the color and the opacity for blending on the skin.
Color = #B33D45
Color Opacity = 1.00
Color = #FF557F
Color Opacity = 0.50
- Invert Normal
Invert Normal = Off
Invert Normal = On
- Normal Strength
Normal Strength = 0.30
Normal Strength = 0.80
- Roughness: You can use this setting to increase or decrease the smoothness of the region.
Roughness = 0.00
Roughness = 1.00
- Metallic: You can use this setting to increase or decrease the reflectivity of the region.
Metallic = 0.00
Metallic = 1.00
This sub-section contains settings for the Micro Normal effect within the masked region.

- Blur:

Blur = 1.00
- Expansion:
Expansion = -0.10
