Shadow
In iClone, all lights are capable of generating shadows except Image Base Lighting and Ambient Light.
You can find the global shadow settings in the Visual panel.

Activate the Shadow option under the Shadow Map tab in the Visual Settings panel to set the shadow effect.

- A realistic way to calculate the physical projections of shadows from the light source with the shadow map technology.
- Casting shadows is from characters and props / scene.
- A higher resolution shadow map is required if you wish all scene elements to cast shadows.
- Shadows can only be projected on 3D objects but not on the virtual floor (X-Y plane).

However, each light type (directional,
spot and point) can have individual shadow settings.
