Browsing Content by Item

The most convenient method for locating specific items in any content type from any content pack is by using the search feature. You can search using keywords and tags, sort items by content category, or find all items within their original pack. This eliminates the need to remember where items are stored.

    The Character Type label located in the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail indicates either the character type or the recommended character type for facial profiles.

    * You can activate the Filter by Base Type checkbox to only show compatible items for the current character.

Hair content


  • The Hair Group icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the hair type: Hair, Beard, and Eyebrows.
  • (for the Hair type)

    The Hair Element icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the hair parts of each hair type.

Cloth / Media content

    The Layer Order icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the layer order of the clothes, gloves, or shoes.

  • The Substance icon on the bottom-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the source texture of the clothes, gloves, or shoes is designed with Substance material.

  • The Motion Director icon on the bottom-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the iMD data for iClone Motion Director.

Set content


  • The PopcornFX icon on the bottom-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the particles are made by the PopcornFX plug-in for iClone.

Activate the Filter by Base Type checkbox to only show compatible items for the current object.

  1. (for G3 characters only)
    The Character Type icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the character type or the suitable character type for animation or attaching body parts.
  2. (for G3 Human characters only)
    The Angle icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the facing angle of a Human character, its head, or facial parts. It can also indicate the motion angle of an animation.

  3. The Spring icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the object has spring effect enabled with supporting bone structure.

  4. The FFD icon on the top-left corner of the thumbnail indicates the animation includes an FFD effect (for 2D Motion, Perform, FFD Motion, Prop Motion and Action Menu only).

  5. The Vector icon on the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail indicates the object is made with vector graphics.
  6. G3 | G2
    The Character Generation label on the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail indicates the character generation; or the compatible character generation of the animation or body part.

Free resource items or purchased items not yet installed are marked with an icon on the upper right. You can double-click on the thumbnail to start installing the item.

By taking advantage of the Item View, you can:

  • View All Available Items in Gallery: Enable the Show Subfolder Items checkbox to view all of the free resource items, items from the purchased packs, and purchased single items under different filter conditions.
  • Quickly Find Items in Desired Types: Click the Category Buttons or click the category nodes in the tree view to quickly switch the display to the items of a desired category. By double-click on the item, the display will automatically switch to the Pack View for downloading and installing the entire pack.
  • Finding Related Pack by Item:
  • Show Items by Filters: Use different filters underneath the tree-view to find the newly purchased, recently downloaded, free, trial, or collected items.
